The last regular season meeting between the Birmingham Cardinals and the Sox ended like the first encounter. The Sox did not hit!!! With only two hits the entire game the Sox did not put up much of an offensive fight. Patrick DeVault was the only batter to generate a run with two walks and a base hit for the day.
Travis McDaniel started the game throwing for four innings before the left fielder David Seals had to leave the game for a injury. After a bag of ice and a couple of stitches later, Seals will live to player another day.
