Game Summary:
This was the second meeting between the Buck Village and your home town Sox. The game began with Kenny Akin and Shawn Covington getting on base but not able to get home before it was time to go on defense. Justice Covington, Jayde Boatfield, and Malcolm Brooks were able to find there way on base safely before the rain came down.
Jacob Croft took the mound and commanded respect from the first pitch. The Stars of Buck Village didn’t get a run until a fourth inning walk and a hit to right center. This would be the only run of the game before the rain began to come down in the bottom of the fifth inning. Croft, unfortunately, took the lost because the God given circumstance. Croft threw the entire game with eight strike outs after twenty batters faced and six walks.
