The second meeting between the Gadsden Hit Squad and the Blue Sox ended in the Sox favor.
The game began with Malcolm Brooks pitching for the Sox. The first inning began a little rocky with a couple of errors with in the infield that scored two of the four runs for the Hit Squad. Nico McElrath began the second inning with a hit and became the first run of the day. As a whole; all the Blue Sox were able to get a pair of hits. The two highlights of the day came from a bases loaded double by Justice Covington that cleaned a full house of bases. Justice was able to advance to third on a fielders choice, towards home plate on the same play. The second highlight cam from Romodo Williams plate appearance in the top of the eighth inning. With two strikes Romondo was able to hit a towering fly ball to left center for a stand up double.
