Summary:
The semi-finals began with a first blood from the Cardinals. Not until the third inning did the Sox take the lead 4-1 with Nico McElrath knocking in too of the runs. In the sixth inning Cory Collum hit a two run home run to complete the runs for the Sox.
Junior Gray started pitching for the Sox and was able to hold them until the 5th inning after giving up five runs. Jayde Boatfield finished the game allowing four other runs. Over all the game was well played by both teams. Key plays by the Cardinals right fielder kept the Sox from taking the lead and stealing the game away!!!
