Summary:
This is the first round of the play offs and the Blue Sox did not want to go home. From the start of the game the Blue Sox played with a purpose. The meat of the lineup provided most of the runs and set the momentum. In the sixth inning Kevin Covington and Nico McElrath once again hit “Back to Back” Home runs.
Malcolm Brooks picks up the win with 3 innings of work and only 2 hits against him. Jayde Boatfield and Corey Collum came in to complete the nine innings to put the other team to rest.
The best feeling for the team was to beat this team when it really counted.
