The Blue Sox organization began in the late 1950’s as a Cherokee County community team. It started with the African American youth of that time, traveling around the United States competing against other top amateur teams. Today, the Blue Sox has grown to consist of players of multiple nationalities and talent from high school, colleges, and ex pro players.
The Mission for the Blue Sox is to provide a great learning experience for our players. Our goal is to play in qualifying tournaments for the National Baseball Conference league in Wichita, Kansas.
